Overview
Mayflower is a leader in advanced GPS Receiver technology. Mayflower has developed GPS solutions for Government and Industrial customers for a variety of applications, such as high accuracy measurements for relative navigation; attitude determination; and High Accuracy Pseudolite Reference systems. Mayflower GPS technology includes both C/A Code Receiver Technology and P(Y) Code Receiver Technology.
A unique feature of Mayflower GPS receiver technology is the built-in Anti-Jam protection against multiple narrowband jammers. This protection can be enabled or disabled under the processor control and does not require any additional hardware support. This built-in Anti-Jam capability can be extended to provide protection against multiple narrowband and wideband jammers by using Mayflower spatial Anti-Jam technology, along with a multi-element antenna array. More information on the Mayflower Anti-Jam technology can be found here.
C/A Code
Mayflower has developed several generations of C/A code GPS receivers, tracing the advances in electronics processing and packaging technology. The first generation C/A code GPS receiver, RGR-6000, was in a multi-card chassis. The second generation implementation, RGR-8000, was on a single circuit card assembly. The third generation C/A code receiver is based on the Magic™ System on Chip (SoC). Magic™ is a high performance C/A Code Receiver Chip with twelve channels as well as integrated Anti-Jam protection. This device has a direct digital interface to the Mayflower Vanguard™ Anti-Jam chip and is packaged in a 10 mm x 10 mm low profile BGA package. The integrated Anti-Jam technology supports 40 dB of protection against multiple narrow band jammers.
